Abstract: This chapter analyzes the production history and representational elements of Medal of Honor, a best-selling military video game that illustrates multiple points of convergence between the United States Department of Defense and the digital games industry. Tanner Mirrlees demonstrates how this game furthers the militarization of American culture during the global war on terror.
